Whether you like old school or new school, there is one thing that just about every chopper freak can agree on - your tank can make or break the look of your bike.

Just because the public may think that choppers are rude, crude, rough , and raw, it doesn't mean that you should have a rude, crude, rough, or raw machine.  Style is a matter of taste and will be endlessly debated, but everyone with a sharp eye can appreciate quality craftsmanship.  That's what most builders look at when examining one another's creations, how it was built.  Having a well-made bike doesn't automatically put you in the chrome pony category, and on the flip side, having a bike cobbled together with bailing wire and booger welds doesn't make you more hardcore, it just means you're lazy, or you're really proud of not knowing what you're doing.

Don't blow a gasket just yet, no one expects you to be a master builder overnight.  In fact, many of today's top builders are offering products to make your transition from garage dweller to proud builder just a little bit easier.  Such is the case with Independent Gas Tank Co. (IGTC) and its hidden mount kit.  Whether you pounded your own tank, fit up one of IGTC's custom creations, or found a swap meet gem, you're going to have to get that sucker to stay atop or nestled around one of your frame rails.  IGTC offers this convenient hidden mount kit (which it offers pre-installed as an option on all of their tanks) to make it safe and easy to mount your tank of choice without bulky brackets obscuring the tank that will no doubt be the crown jewel of your machine.  Follow along as we watch Kyle from IGTC install hidden mounts on one of their custom-made Bobber-style tanks.
